Adrian and Rachel Gillespie

Living in Brisbane, Adrian and Rachel were keen to purchase acreage to provide their kids with the space and clean air Adrian enjoyed growing up.

 In September 2015, Adrian, Rachel, and their 2 kids (Riley and Connor at the time) moved onto their 100-acre NSW Northern Rivers property. In December that year they welcomed their daughter Elliana.

The property was a blank slate. After considerable research they decided to plant a 3.3Ha trial plot of Tea tree in 2017. Aided immeasurably by the help of local growers with advice, seedling production and planting.

Unseasonal rain (250ml overnight) hit just days after planting but fortunately, the seedlings survived relatively unscathed and 18 months later they harvested their first crop.

 12 months after the first paddock was planted, they decided to take the plunge and expand their plantation with another 5.5Ha in 2018, followed by another 4Ha in 2019.

 They are filled with a great sense of pride knowing they produce a natural product from a native plant that benefits so many people around the world.
