Joe & Marja Feeney

Joe & Marja Feeney have been growing tea tree for about 5 years, on their plantation on Woodford Island, just outside Brushgrove.

A friend of Joe’s had been growing tea tree for some time, and told him about its benefits as a natural product discovered by Australia’s first nations. Joe & Marja decided to give it a try, and planted out six hectares over the next few years.

Joe says tea tree is special because it is a natural product which works.  It has a relatively low impact on the environment.
