Peter and Gaye Price

Peter and Gaye first came to tea tree farming in the late 1990s, before leaving the industry in the 2000s. After taking a bit of a break, they decided to plant tea tree again in 2018. They now have 20 Hectares under production outside of Coraki, New South Wales.

They saw tea tree as an opportunity to diversify away from sugar cane, which they also grow. Both are suitable crops for the area, and like similar conditions.

Peter and Gaye have always used tea tree at home, and find it to be a relatively easy crop to manage, as once established, there is no need to replant for some decades.
